Description:

This workshop is patterned after the National Writing Project Model. This model emphasizes process-oriented teaching of writing by providing an opportunity for teachers to share writing activities that work for them, offering short presentations on writing issues common to all teachers, and requiring teacher t write themselves.   Blended into this experience will be short activities and presentations that suggest strategies for integrating technology to enhance writing instruction.  Teacher time during each day will be split between listening to presentation by the instructors and their fellow teachers, preparing their own presentations, researching an issue of personal importance, and working on their own piece of writing to share with the group.
