What will my total bill be if I take UWSP courses at UWMC and on campus at UWSP?

That depends on the total number of semester credits that you enroll for at UWSP.

For 12 UWSP semester credits plus one (3 credit) course at UWMC for a total of 15 credits:

$3,755.56 Tuition for 12-18 credits (IN STATE tuition)
$   987.29 One UWMC course IN STATE (Sections 82)
$4,742.85

For 9 UWSP semester credits plus one (3 credit) course at UWMC for a total of 12 credits:

$2,951.32 Tuition for 9 credits (IN STATE tuition)
$   987.29 One UWMC course IN STATE (Sections 82)
$3,938.61

For 6 UWSP semester credits plus two (3 credit) courses at UWMC for a total of 12 credits:

$2,147.08 Tuition for 6 credits (IN STATE tuition)
$1,974.58 Two UWMC courses IN STATE (Sections 82)
$4,121.66

*Non-resident students contact Laurie Kallstrom lkallstr@uwsp.edu for non-resident tuition and fee information.

Why will my UWSP tuition be more for 15 credits than 12 credits?

Tuition for the UWSP courses at UWMC does not follow the UWSP on-campus pattern of paying per credit until you reach full time status, and then paying the same amount for 12 credits as you do for 13-18 credits. If you enroll in a UWSP course at UWMC, you will be billed for the total number of semester credits. For 15 credits, you will pay for the UWMC courses in addition to the tuition that UWSP charges for 12-18 credits.

Explain the “Special Fee: $ 200.00” listed in the timetable?

A $200.00 special course fee is charged for each 3-credit course to help cover text rental, advising, administrative, and course-delivery costs that are unique to this outreach effort. However, no segregated fees are charged for courses in this program. The program is part of an effort which is targeted for a specific audience and constitutes an expansion of the total offerings of UW-Stevens Point.
