Description:

Beginning (Sec 791) - This two credit course is designed to provide information on the use of manual communication with various populations of children and adults.  In addition, receptive and expressive fingerspelling and signing skills will be taught.

Intermediate (Sec 792) - Activities will consist of sign language use for sentences and conversation skills.  Information and practice will be done for both signed English and American Sign Language.

These courses will be structured with a variety of activities at the different levels.  This course is intended for health care workers, teachers, speech-language pathologists, audiologists, teaching assistants, and other professionals.
