Description: Explore educational issues of the diverse gifted and talented learners also known as twice gifted.  

This course will address topics associated with students who experience giftedness and talents and who also have unique (diverse) learning needs. Many of these students might also be noted as underachieving in their studies.  Gifted and talented individuals might have problems learning or dealing with social situations for many reasons.  The literature in this field will be explored as well as ways in which the learning needs of these students can be met in varying educational settings.  We will also explore learning style preferences in order to understand the diverse learning styles students might have and to find ways to enhance learning and motivation to learn among these students.
