Compile personal/ professional portfolio representing professional growth based on balanced literacy instruction, diagnosis and evaluation of reading difficulty, supporting reading practices, clinical case study.

Prerequisite:  Must also be registered for EDUC 741

This course is designed for teachers seeking Add-on certification in Reading (316 or 317 licensure) and is required of all students who have had a program review and established a Plan of Study for certification from the Spring of 2005 to present.

This course is also highly recommended for students who established a Plan of Study prior to Spring 2005.

A reading teaching portfolio will be required at the completion of 316 and 317 certification per DPI guidelines.
