Any kind of problem that is serious enough to adversely affect an employee's job performance warrants the services of EAP. Experiencing personal difficulties is something all employees have in common. The earlier the problem is confronted, the more likely the chance for satisfactory results. As people deal successfully with stress and crisis in their life, they grow as individuals, and function optimally on the job.

EAP services are strictly confidential. No information about an employee's participation or problems will be divulged to any person or agency, including UW-SP, without written authorization signed by the employee. Information is not recorded in personnel files and does not serve as a negative factor in personal decisions.
