Deposits

Deposit funds at the Information Desk in the Dreyfus University Center.

 

Withdrawals

  • Require a completed SFO Payment Order form (available in the General Ledger Department)
    • PAYEE: If an individual is being reimbursed the check will be payable to him/her.  If a vendor is being paid please provide the vendor name.
    • ADDRESS: If the check will be mailed please provide a complete mailing address.
  • The form must be signed by someone listed on the account's signature card (kept on file in the General Ledger Department).  In order to be valid, all signature cards must include the organization advisor's signature.  New signature cards are available in the General Ledger Department if the organization has authorized signer and/or advisor changes to be made.
  • Checks are available for pickup at the Bursar's Office after 3:00 PM on the date the check is issued.

 

Checks

Checks are only issued on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday according to the following availability schedule:

  Monday Wednesday Friday

Check Ready After 3:00 PM 3:00 PM 3:00 PM

 

Cash ($50.00 or less)

An SFO Payment Order form must be completed and signed (by someone listed on the account's signature card) to receive a cash refund or payment in the amount of $50.00 or less.  Requests in the amount of $10.00 or less are strongly encouraged to request cash rather than a check.  The individual receiving cash must:

  1. Bring the signed SFO Payment Order form to the General Ledger Department, Old Main Building, Room 001.
  2. Show ID.
  3. Sign for the cash received.

 

Source of Funds 

Fund raisers and membership dues are common fund sources.  Student Government Association (SGA) funds cannot be put into an SFO account.  Donations to SFO accounts are not tax deductible.

 

Tax Exempt Status

SFO accounts are not university accounts and therefore are NOT tax exempt unless the organization has its own tax exempt number.  Donations to SFO accounts are NOT tax deductible.
