Entrepreneurial Training Program
The Small Business Development Center is pleased to provide local entrepreneurs
and those looking to start a business, with top-notch, impact training.
Through this training you will complete a strong written business plan on the
direction your business needs to succeed. Whether you have been
in business for years and need some solid planning tools, or are beginning a business,
this training will help you succeed.
This 8-session series will cover management and legal structure, business
and market research, marketing, financial records and control, financial planning
and budgets, how to finance your business, and will include a summary and graduation
session. See below for details on where and when sessions will be held.

We are also pleased to announce that by filling out an application,
the Wisconsin Department of Commerce will subsidize
75% of your $1000 course fee. With this assistance
your fee is only $250.
Your application will be processed within two weeks of our receiving it. This program
is offered in the spring and fall in various locations including Stevens Point and

FALL 2009 Locations and Dates
Waupaca (E-Seed)
6-9 pm, September 16-Decemberm
16, 2009 at the Waupaca Regional Center of Fox Valley Technical College. A
free informational session on the E-Seed program will be offered on
Wednesday, August 19th from 6-9 pm at the Waupaca Regional Center. To

Marshfield
6-9 pm, September 28 - November 16, 2009 at the Marshfield Area Chamber
of Commerce and Industry (MACCI). A free introductory session will be held
on September 14th from 6-7 pm at MACCI to answer questions, fill out
applications, and meet the instructor.
Wausau
6-9 pm, October 6-December 1, 2009 at the UWSP Center for Leadership Excellence & Economic
Development, 200 Washington St. Wausau, 54401. Book pick-up will be on
September 29th from 6-7:00 pm.
Stevens Point
6-9 pm, October 14-December 9, 2009 at the Wisconsin Learning Center,
5501A Vern Holmes Drive, Stevens Point WI 54481. A free introductory
session on September 30 from 6-7pm will give details of the program,
answer questions, and provide assistance in filling out application
materials.
