Annual Meeting
CALL FOR PAPERS AND POSTERS
All meeting attendees are invited to present papers or posters.
Abstracts must not exceed 250 words and must follow the AAG Annual
Meeting guidelines (see
http://www.aag.org/annualmeetings/2010/papers.htm#instructions
for details). Please note that your abstract must be ready for
print, as it will be printed in the Meeting Program as received.
Send abstracts as email attachments (in Microsoft Word or RTF
format) to Lisa Theo ltheo@uwsp.edu
by October 1, 2009. Document files should be named as follows:
lastname_firstname. in the subject line of your email, please
put: WGS 2009 Abstract."
PAPER AND POSTER COMPETITIONS
The best undergraduate paper and poster, and graduate paper and
poster submitted at this year's meeting will each receive a $100
cash prize. Paper will also be eligible for submission to
The Wisconsin Geographer. students who wish to be
considered for these awards should check the appropriate box on
their registration form. Winners will be announced at the
Saturday luncheon. Papers and posters will be judged according
to originality, quality, and significance. Both qualitative
and quantitative papers and posters are encouraged.
Deadline for submission of Abstracts is October 1, 2009.

address on Friday, compete for cash and prizes at the Geography
Bowl.

Cancellations will be assessed a $25 processing fee. No refunds will
be given after October 9, 2009. Substitutions can be made at
anytime, but no shows will be responsible for the full conference
