Conference Description

A two-day conference to hone the communication skills of all public health staff. Day one will focus on effective written and oral communication in stressful and emotionally charged situations. Day two will focus on using these skills to identify and communicate risks of carcinogen exposure in Wisconsin

Conference Handouts

We will NOT have paper copies of presentations at the conference. Starting March 24th, attendees can download and save copies of presentations and handouts from the WEHA website: http://www.weha.net/. Help us save unneeded paper usage (and keep conference fees low)!

Registration:

Registrations received after April 1, 2010 will incur a $15 late fee.  Register only one person per form. Requests for refunds must be made in writing by April 7th and are subject to a $12 processing fee.

Registration Fees (includes Award Luncheon, Breakfast on Day 2, and breaks):

WEHA Member $95
Full-time Student $25 (covers the cost of meals)
Non-Member $140
   
Add-Ons:  
+ $20 Pre-RS Exam training will be held Wednesday, April 14 from 7-8:30 PM. To reserve a space in the training, please add this amount to your registration fee and submit along with your registration form.
+ $40 WEHA Membership Dues Add-on.  If you are not a current WEHA member and want to take advantage of the WEHA member rate, join today!
+ $15 Late Registration Add-on.  Add $15 to your registration amount if you are registering after the April 1st early bird registration cutoff.

 

Pre-RS Exam Study Session: Wednesday, April 14th, 7:00 - 8:30 pm.  Cost: $20.00.  Join other colleagues who are about to take the RS Exam.  Learn more about the exam, including helpful hints about topics to study and how to obtain copies of sample questions.  You must check the box on the registration form to register for the study session, but you do not have to be registered for the whole conference in order to register for and attend the study session.

A block of rooms has been reserved for conference participants at the special rate of $60 for a room with one King or two Double beds. To ensure the conference rate, reservations must be made by March 15, 2010 by calling 715-387-1761 or toll free at 800-227-1761 and ask for the WEHA room block to get the special conference rate.
