Foresters, ecologists, land managers, biologists and others working or interested in the jack pine ecosystems of Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Canada.
Why Should You Attend
The symposium will cover a wide variety of topics relevant to jack pine conservation and management including: current condition and threats to jack pine,
management techniques on federal, state, and private land, the role of wildland and prescribed fire, jack pine regeneration challenges, forest certification
(SFI/SFC), and management practices that promote plant and wildlife species.
