Learn firsthand about energy efficiency and renewable energy systems. Visit public buildings and businesses that have implemented cost-saving energy efficient upgrades, and renewable energy installations. Learn about the differences between renewable energy technologies, what incentives are available and how it can save your budget in the long run. Stops include:
- UW-Stevens Point – solar hot water, solar wall, and green roof
- Stevens Point Willet Ice Arena - lighting and energy efficiency upgrade
- Stevens Point Fire Station #2 - energy efficiency upgrade and solar hot water
- Midwest Renewable Energy Association – wind, solar electric, solar thermal, efficiency techniques and green building design
