Change in session description for D2:
Using Personality Style in Effective Communication
ADRC clients present diverse communication styles and personal values - as do the people who serve them. Using concepts derived from various personality style frameworks including the Myers-Briggs Personality Inventory, True Colors and Color Lingo, this session will help participants examine their own style and how it influences their individual approach to people andproblems. This session will also discuss how to use personality style awareness to boost personal and professional effectiveness and minimize conflict, while assisting participants in recognizing and respecting the intrinsic styles of ADRC clients and colleagues.
