Conflict Management Skills
Course Overview:
This session can introduce people to the “basics” of conflict including
understanding the nature of conflict, how to identify the cause of conflict, and
various conflict management techniques.
Who Should Attend:
- Employees with supervisory responsibilities.
- Employees who have recently been promoted into a supervisory role.
- Employees working toward a goal of becoming a supervisor.
- Members of self-directed work teams.
- Supervisors that have never participated in a formal managerial leadership-training
course.
Outcomes Expected:
Special emphasis is given to definitions of conflict, conflict types, conflict assessment,
common workplace conflicts, conflict tactics and styles.
