SEPTEMBER

Golf 101- September 7-October 5
Are you thinking about becoming a golfer or want to try out the game? The program will teach beginners how fun, easy and affordable this sport can be by learning basic golf skills in a casual, friendly setting. Clubs are available to use at no extra charge during the lessons.

Beginning Sign Language - September 7-October 12
The first unit of basic signs for conversational communication in sign language. Whether you are interested in sign for use in a community setting, family, or work, it's a great skill to have and fun to use. Join us for this hands-on class covering deaf culture, signs, grammer, and finger spelling. No book required.

 
Golf 201: Beyond the Basics - September 12-October 10
Improve your overall experience on the golf course! This program is open to all beginners and intermediates who have completed Golf 101 or have played or practiced golf before. Clubs are available to use at no extra charge during the lessons.
 
 

OCTOBER 

8 Steps to Great Photos - Thursdays, October 6 & 13
Learn how to make more compelling images, see and think like a photographer and to take control of the camera. You will also find out how to avoid the most common mistakes made by beginners.

The Magic of Photoshop - Thursdays, Oct. 20, 27, Nov. 3
This three-session class covers Photoshop essentials for photographers. Learn how to edit your photos from start to finish. The basic techniques covered can be used with Photoshop versions CS5, CS6, and CC.
 

 


​Arts & Culture Outreach - Cancellation and Payment Policies

All payments for Arts & Culture classes must be paid with credit card at the time of registration.
 
To cancel your registration, written notice must be emailed to us at uwspce-aco@uwsp.edu
Students withdrawing at least seven days before the first day of class will receive a full refund. 

Withdrawals made less than seven days before the class starts will be assessed a $20 cancellation fee plus a materials charge. 

Single session classes: No refunds will be given to cancellations made within 24 hours of the class or for no-shows. 

Multiple session classes or lessons: No refunds will be given after the second class session or lesson. 

Note: Woodwind Day, Camp COFAC, Central Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra Program, theater trips, and travel programs have separate policies. Trip insurance is strongly encouraged for all travel programs.
