* The Prevention Conference continues to be committed to minimizing our impact on the environment and hope you will join us in this effort. Please note that this year, we are not mailing out a full conference brochure in order to save resources.  Watch for the 2013 schedule to be posted here as the conference dates draw closer.

Wisconsin Service to Prevention Honors (formerly the Prevention Awards) 
The Wisconsin Services to Prevention Honors recognize individuals and groups who have made significant contributions to creating and reinforcing conditions at the local, regional, or state level that promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles.  Check back for the on-line nomination form. 

Conference Registration Fees:
Registration fees include materials, breakfast, breaks and lunch each day.  Dinner is not provided.

• Full Conference (September 11-13): $180
• Training Institutes/Ancillary Meetings (September 11 only): $50
• Conference Workshops (September 12-13 only): $150

Earn UWSP Credit

A one-credit UWSP course may be available in conjunction with the WI State Prevention Conference.  Please check back for the course syllabus later this summer.  Contact Sheila Bannister-Gross at 715-346-3919 or sbannist@uwsp.edu for registration information. Tuition payments are in addition to the conference fee and are at current University of Wisconsin System tuition rates. 

Lodging:

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Kalahari Resort for the conference.  Rooms are available at the rate of $70 per night for single, $95 for double occupancy, and $129 for triple and quad occupancy.  Individuals can make their own  reservations by calling the Kalahari at 877-253-5466.  Be sure to mention the WI State Prevention Conference room block when you call to get the conference rate.  Please note that guests will be charged a deposit of one night's lodging (plus tax if applicable) when a reservation is made.
