​Math and Parent Partners (MAPPS)

Fall 2014

MAPPS invites you to learn fun and effective ways to help children with math.

Mini-course: Thinking in Patterns: Beginning Algebra

Dates: Thursdays in October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and November 6, 13, 20

Location: UW-Stevens Point Campus; Science Building, Room A201

Time: 5:30-7:30 p.m.


Students fourth grade and older must accompany parents in the sessions. 

Math-centered child care will be provided for children third grade and younger.

Snacks/Food will be provided.

 (Teachers-your children are invited too!)   

Learn How to:

  • Gain a better understanding of the fundamental principles of whole numbers.
  • Gain an understanding of the Common Core standards.
  • Increase children's confidence and performance with math.
  • Be better equipped to help your child with homework.
  • Enhance relationship with children's school.
  • Enjoy fellowship with other parents and teachers.
  • Math games, activities, and homework help provided for children.
