STEM Exploration Days

(Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point has three STEM Exploration Days for students in grades 7 and 8.  Previously, the events were marketed as STEM Career Day for Boys, STEM Career Day for Girls, or Women & Science Day.

In the spring of 2014, we opened added STEM Exploration Day at our Treehaven Campus in Tomahawk, Wisconsin to provide a STEM Career Day event to the Northwoods school districts.  This year, while all three programs will explore STEM, STEM careers, and will include overall STEM exploration, we thought STEM Exploration Days was a fitting title.  STEM Exploration Days still exhibits, a keynote presentation, three one hour workshops and lunch.
