STEM Exploration Days

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Exploration for 7th and 8th grade students

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point has three STEM Exploration Days for students in grades 7 and 8.  Previously, the events were marketed as STEM Career Day for Boys, STEM Career Day for Girls, or Women & Science Day.
In the spring of 2014, we added STEM Exploration Day at Treehaven in Tomahawk, Wisconsin to provide a STEM Career Day event for the Northwoods school districts.  Because all three programs will explore STEM, STEM careers and overall STEM exploration, we thought STEM Exploration Days was a fitting title.  STEM Exploration Days still has exhibits, a keynote presentation, three one-hour workshops and lunch.
