STEM Career Days
(Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
The STEM Career Days are conferences offering youth in 7th and 8th grade a
chance to engage in science through fun, hands-on workshops. Science,
technology, engineering, and mathematics professionals from throughout
Wisconsin, and faculty and staff from UW-Stevens Point provide workshops about
their STEM career and illustrate the many opportunities available when having
a STEM education. Students attend exhibits, listen to a keynote speaker, and
attend three, one-hour workshops of their choosing. Workshops are held
throughout campus giving students early exposure to the UW-Stevens Point campus.
Two events are offered, one for boys in grades 7 and 8 and one for girls in
grades 7 and 8. Pre-registration is required for both events. Click on
the event of your choosing for more information.
