Conference Details

The Wisconsin Society of American Foresters is hosting the 2013 Conference. This year's focus is northern hardwood management. Spend two days discussing management options for these challenging stands and go in to the field to evaluate on the ground implementations of different prescriptions, as well as hear the latest from experts around the Lake States Region.

Foresters, Loggers, Land Managers, Natural Resources Professionals, and anyone else who is interested in learning more about the current state of northern hardwood management in Wisconsin, and the current science and strategies for its management.

At Gus Erdmann's property, where a timber harvest was recently conducted to develop a stronger northern hardwood component in a pine and oak stand:
