The International Aquaponics Conference: Aquaponics and Global Food Security brought together individuals having and wanting to have an impact on food quality, security and sustainability using aquaponic methods. Industry experts shared experience and knowledge in a fun and informative conference setting, providing participants a wealth of information on the rapidly growing aquaponics industry.

POSTER CONTEST WINNERS: Congratulations to the winners of the poster contest.
- First Place in Middle School Level was awarded to Erik Konkol from Stevens Point
- First Place in the High School Level was awarded to three students from Cornell High School, Cornell Wisconsin: Mitchell Thompson, Hannah Clark and McKenzie Hall.
- First Place in the College Level was awarded to Ryan Dunwoody from Warrensburg, MO (pictured with John Pade and Rebecca Nelson of Nelson and Pade, Inc.)
- Second Place in the College Level was awarded to Asmaa AlJuhani from Skokie, IL

The International Aquaponic Society, in partnership with the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, is dedicated to aquaponics research, education and science-based, economically-viable aquaponic systems. The society is supported, in part, through a UWSP Foundation fund.
