Congratulations, Doctor of Audiology Students!
Candidates for Doctor of Audiology:
The Doctor of Audiology Degree candidates will be hooded at the 2 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, May 18. You will be hooded by a professor in your department and you will receive your diploma cover from Dean Marty Loy.
Procedure for receiving your diploma:
Proceed up the ramp with your professor/representative from your college alongside of you. *The hooding will take place on stage.* Please give your name card to the name reader (indicate who is hooding you on your card). Your faculty representative will step up on a platform by the name reader table and hood you on stage along with an administrator from the university. Please make your way across the stage, shake the Chancellor’s hand, receive your diploma from your dean and exit the stage on the other side.
For your information:
Tassels are to be worn on the left side of the mortarboard at all times. Carry the doctoral hood over your right arm during the procession. Make sure the hood is unbuttoned.
You will be seated in front of the master’s students and you will be the first graduates to receive your diplomas.
