Congratulations, Master’s Degree Candidates!
Master's degree candidates for spring graduation will be conferred in two different ceremonies.
9:30 am: College of Letters and Science and College of Natural Resources
2 p.m.: College of Professional Studies and College of Fine Arts & Communication
Lineup will take place one hour prior to the ceremony in the Quandt Fieldhouse, Health Enhancement Center.
Candidates in the College of Letters and Science and College of Fine Arts & Communication:
It is your option and responsibility to contact directly the faculty member in your college that you prefer to hood you at the ceremony. Please indicate the faculty member by emailing commencement@uwsp.edu.
Candidates in the College of Natural Resources:
It is your option and responsibility to contact directly the CNR faculty member you prefer to hood you at the ceremony. You must supply the name of the individual who has agreed to hood you by email to Sharon Reichert in the CNR administrative office.
Candidates in the College of Professional Studies:
The college has arranged to have a representative from your academic area to be present and to hood you at the ceremony. There is no need for you to contact us regarding hooding.
For your information:
Tassels are worn on the left side of the mortarboard at all times. Carry the master's hood over your right arm during the procession. Make sure the hood in unbuttoned.
Please feel free to practice the hooding procedure with your faculty representative prior to the ceremony.
