The Communication minor enriches many majors. If you are interested in declaring a Communication minor, you must meet with a Division representative. You may make an appointment with the Division Chair or Undergraduate Advisor in the Division of Communication office.
- Complete a minimum of 24 credits in Communication including:
- Communication Core (12 credits)
- Communication 171, Communication in Civilization
- Communication 271, Contemporary Communication Theories
- Communication 273, Reasoning and Criticism
- Communication 373 Communication and Social Change
- Electives (12 credits) These may be chosen from any of the Division's emphasis areas. Six of these elective credits must be in courses numbered 300 or above.
- Communication 101 may not be used to complete the major
- Communication Core (12 credits)
