Briefly, Prof. Dubiel's research agenda is informed by his liberal arts background, diverse interests, and varied professional career. "Rhetorical criticism" might best summarize his general direction. Ethical issues constitute a common thread in much of his work. He was an executive board member of the Communication Ethics Commission of the National Communication Association from 1997-2001.
