Organisms within a dynamic system constantly adapt when factors within the system change. Keeping up with the fluid demands of student-athletes, from academia to mechanical loads, warrants the utility of dynamic modelling strategies. In our attempt to simulate these dynamical systems when optimizing athlete readiness, we utilize a probabilistic graphical model approach: Bayesian Belief Networks.After studying Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Kyle Peterson is currently pursuing a PhD in Informatics at the University of Iowa. His fond adoration for statistics applied to sport, along with a newfound passion for data science, constantly nourishes his craving for computational scholarship. Kyle aspires to push the boundaries of sport statistics and promote the utilization of quantitative methods in the athletic community.
