Guide to Application for Teacher Training

in Suzuki Voice – Book 1

 

ESA Suzuki Voice Teacher Trainer Paivi Kukkamaki

 

Requirements to gain participant status:

1. Bachelor of Music degree with significant private voice study

2. SAA introductory course “Every Child Can” or Unit 1A on any instrument (completed as a participant prior to 2004)

3. Submit the following performances on video tape for approval

     A. Unaccompanied

1.  Mozart Lullaby by Bernhard Fliess (in German) (can be found in Pathways of Song, Volume 1 – Warner Brothers, or Mozart Lieder – Peters Edition.

2.  Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star

     B. Accompanied

1.  Vaccai Vocalise No. 7 “Come il candore”

                2.   Lied of your choice

                3.  Aria from opera or oratorio of your choice

 

The videotape should be in VHS format and should be submitted to the American Suzuki Institute no later than July 1.
