Entries due Tuesday June 22, 1999, 11:00-6:00 pm at the Riverfront Arts
Center, south of Pfiffner band shelter, downtown Stevens Point
This is an opportunity to exhibit that piece of art work by you or your artistic
great-grandmother that was created in Stevens Point! Get busy creating OR digging in that
attic and find the perfect piece that was inspired in the Stevens Point area (whether it
is a descriptive representation art piece OR a totally abstract art piece).
ELIGIBILITY
All 2-D or 3-D art work by past and present Stevens Point artists (living or deceased).
Works must be ready for installation (framed, no wet paint) and must remain in the gallery
for the duration of the exhibition. Judging will be from actual pieces (no slide
submissions). Up to three pieces of artwork may be submitted by each artist or by artist
enthusiast/patron. There is a $5 submission fee for each piece submitted. Submitting an
entry form to this exhibition implies an agreement on the part of the artist to all listed
conditions.
ARTWORK and AWARDS will be selected by juror: Lisa Sweet, Assistant Professor of
Art at UW-Marathon.
DELIVERY
Drop off work Tuesday, June 22nd at the Riverfront Arts Center between 11:00 - 6:00 pm
Pick up rejected works Thursday, June 24th between 11:00 - 6:00 pm Accepted artwork
pick-up is on Tuesday, August 24th between 11:00 - 6:00 pm.
LIABILITY
Artwork is fully insured by the River Arts Center against loss and damage (unless due to
faulty materials or workmanship) while in our possession. River Arts Center is not
responsible for damage or theft of work while in transit. Submitting an entry constitutes
artist's agreement to abide by the conditions of this prospectus and the River Arts Center
Exhibitor Contract and Loan Agreement. Pick up contract Loan Agreement and Exhibitor
Contract at the River Arts Center or call to have these contracts sent to you
(715-343-6251).
