$540 Residential Camp or $440 Commuter Camp - includes all lodging, meals, tuition, class supplies, afternoon and evening activities, and accident insurance.

Point Music Camp offers a program that gives high school instrumental and vocal campers many exciting learning and performing experiences. Participate with approximately 125 other students on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and join a tradition of over 50 years of quality summer music experiences.

Programs
Participate in several areas of music during the week. Improve your skills in any of several programs or try something entirely new to you - your choice!

Choral Program
Audition for Concert Choir and Madrigals. Additional singing opportunities in Women's Chorus, Camp Choir and Vocal Technique classes.

Band Program
Two hours of daily rehearsal with the full ensemble, and one hour of specialized sectional rehearsal.

Jazz Emphasis
Our incredibly popular program features a unique opportunity to play and improvise in a small combo for one hour each day. Additional jazz opportunities include Jazz History, Jazz Ensemble, and Jazz Improvisation classes.

Class Interests
All campers must have at least six hours of class each day. Each class, unless otherwise noted, is one hour.

Eligibility
If you will be entering grades 8-12 or will be a graduating senior this fall, you may apply. Your application must have a parent/guardian signature and music instructor signature to be considered.

Other Information
Students must furnish their own instruments. The University has some large instruments available for rent at a nominal fee. Students are expected to bring concert dress of white blouse/shirt and dark skirt/pants. Clothing for daily wear may be casual. Also, there will be a Friday night dance. Parents/guardians wishing to visit their campers should feel free to do so, but please contact the camp office.

You will work with highly qualified musicians, teachers, and conductors from the UWSP faculty. Additionally, guest faculty from throughout Wisconsin will be joining us.

Counselors are UWSP students. They work with the camp, supervise scheduled afternoon and evening activities and reside in the residence halls with the campers.
