June 22-28, 2008 $615 - includes all lodging, meals, tuition, class supplies, afternoon and evening activities, and accident insurance. Commuter option also available for $515.

The structure of the Studio Art Camp allows students to participate in all of the workshops. Completed projects are put on display during a reception that will be held on Saturday morning to honor the students' artistic expression and share projects with friends and family. Talented faculty members from UWSP as well as guest faculty instruct each workshop. Classes are held from 8:30-4:30 each day, with an hour for lunch. Afternoon and evening activities are planned by the camp director and counselors based on camper interest. Students entering grades 9-12 are welcome to apply for the Studio Art Camp. Registration and final payments are due June 9, 2008.
 

Foundry & Aluminum Casting
Sculpt in clay, create a mold and cast your sculpture in molten aluminum.

Book Arts
Explore book arts as a form of artist expression. Create a book as a work of art using various techniques and materials.

Assemblage Sculpture
Presents the challenge of taking apart an existing object or piece of furniture and using the components to create a new work of art. For safety reasons, leather shoes, long pants (jeans) and long-sleeved shirts are required for this session.

En Plein Air Painting
Experience open air landscape painting.

Graphic Design
Try your hand at virtual design using a variety of software.

Life Drawing
Improve your life drawing skills in this optional evening session with a draped model.
