Studio Art Camp Director; Mixed Media Painting Instructor
 
Mark Brueggeman studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He holds degrees in painting and drawing, and fiber arts and drawing. He taught at UWSP from 1974 to 1987 and has returned as adjunct faculty in foundations.
 
With Linda Martin Moore he operates Atelier Vermeil in Nelsonville, Wisconsin. Atelier Vermeil is a stained glass studio dedicated to original site-specific work for residential and corporate applications.

His current painting focus is a visualization of Bach’s Suites for Solo Cello. Suites 1 and 4 are completed. Currently he is developing Suite 6 as painting and fused glass in conjunction with portraits of cellist Timothy Mutschlecner.​

BrunettKeven Brunett

Metal Casting & Relief Sculpture
 
Keven is from nearby Thorp, WI. He holds a B.F.A. and M.F.A. in visual arts/sculpture from UW–Madison with an emphasis in kinetics and casting. Keven has taught at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, UW–Oshkosh, UW–Madison, and UW–Marathon County. He has also worked for the John Michael Kohler Arts Center/Artist Residency Program in Sheboygan, WI. Currently he teaches 2D and 3D Design Foundation courses as well as special topics courses for the Art and Design Department and the Interior Architecture Division at UWSP.
 
Brunett's kinetic work invites viewers to interact with his sculptures and perhaps find a poignant story beneath the playfulness. His work has been exhibited regionally and nationally.

Stuart Morris

Design Challenge

Stuart Morris received an MFA degree as an Iowa Arts Fellow from the University of Iowa. He taught design and fine art courses at the University of Iowa and the University of Miami and ran Conjure Design before coming to UWSP in 2002 where he teaches courses in graphic design and foundations.
 
Stuart continues to work professionally as a designer and artist. His work has been awarded and exhibited regionally, nationally and internationally.​

McKeeBill McKee

Assemblage Sculpture
 
Bill has worked as Art Shop Manager since 1998 and has taught Introduction to 3D design and Carving and Assemblage. While most of his work history lies outside of the art field (social services and residential construction), his interests and efforts in art date back to the early 1970s.
 
Bill's work includes carvings in stone and wood and collages/assemblages of mixed media. He has had work shown at various galleries in Portage and Waupaca counties in Wisconsin, and in Bellingham and Anacortes, Washington.
 

ThielkingKristin Thielking

Glass Fusing & Slumping
 
Kristin received her BA from Brown University, Providence, RI in Art and Literature, and her MFA from University of Wisconsin, Madison in Sculpture with an emphasis in Glass. She has taught foundation, sculpture and glass classes at U.W. Madison, Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and U.W. Stevens Point since 2001. She exhibits her work regionally and nationally, and has completed several permanant outdoor sculptural commissions with her partner Keven Brunett. She has participated in artist residency programs such as the Vermont Studio Center and the John Michael Kohler Arts/Industry Program and was an artist-in-residence for several community outreach and educational programs at Kohler.
