Need for Sponsorship
The only ongoing funding for this conference pays the coordinator’s salary. All other aspects
of the conference are supported by generous sponsors.
Every year we must raise enough money through grants and
donations to host the event and provide participants an
inspiring program. This year’s fundraising goal is
$10,000. Your generous support will make a difference to the
teachers and students who participate.
Use of Funds
Donations are
used for every aspect of holding this conference:
- Site fees – main
hall, breakout rooms, exhibit hall, green power
offset
- Lunch and
refreshments for participants
- Teacher substitute
reimbursement – without this, some teachers must use
their personal leave time
- Travel
reimbursement for schools – some groups receive no
support from their districts
- Services and
supplies – printing and mailing conference
materials, office supplies
