Overview
  • Groups will be provided with a 2' by 6' table on which to place their materials. All exhibits must be free-standing. No wall space or easels will be available.
  • At minimum, each exhibit MUST include a poster presentation. Accompanying items should enhance the display. Ideas include equipment used in in the project (if applicable), handouts, maps, charts etc.
  • Computer-based resources can be used to enhance the exhibit but cannot be the only part of the exhibit.
  • Electricity is NOT available.
  • Your exhibit should be hosted by at least one representative from your group at all times during the exhibit session. Take turns so everyone has an opportunity to visit the other exhibits.
  • On the day of the conference, reviewers will visit each exhibit. They will provide written feedback to each group. Reviews will be based on how well each display meets the guidelines below.
  • Students participating in the conference will vote for their favorite exhibit based on educational content and creativity. An award will be given to the winning group.

Poster presentations should contain the following information:

  • Title
  • School Name
  • City
  • Ultimate goal of the effort
  • Brief explanation of the project
  • Brief explanation of the importance of your energy project
  • Estimated energy savings for efficiency or conservation projects or energy produced for renewable energy projects

  • Photographs and images of the project
Use photographs and images to present the above information wherever possible.
