Tapestry Grants Program Offers Funding for K-12 Science Teachers
Fifty grants of up to $10,000 and twenty to twenty-five

Calling All Eco Heroes
Action For Nature has a juried annual contest, for which cash
prizes and other gifts are awarded to young people, 8 to 16
years, who have achieved an outstanding environmental success,
and whose efforts will inspire others. Guidelines and

Thacher Scholars Award
The Institute for
Global Environmental Strategies offers the Thacher Scholars Award
for high school students. Prizes will be awarded to students
(grades 9-12) designing and conducting the best projects using
satellite remote sensing of the Earth.
