Masters Degree for
Teachers
The extended MS program for teachers is a
professional development opportunity in which practicing teachers can earn
a master of science degree in natural resources/environmental education. It is designed for K-12
teachers and offers on-line and weekend courses during the academic year
and additional courses during a summer session. Students can transfer in up to 9 graduate credits
from other programs. It is the only MS in environmental education for teachers offered in Wisconsin. An important goal of the program is to increase knowledge and leadership skills in
natural resources and environmental education in its participants. Continuing teachers with at least one year of experience (from all subject areas) are welcome to apply.
