Economy of construction was a major concern in the design of the P3. Please read the parts list and assembly instructions completely before shopping for components. The cost of the P3 prototype was less than $200 for the bike, generator, and platform assembly. The display board cost will vary depending on the accessories the builder decides to include. Please click here for more information about the display board.
Note, the creators of this design recommend building safety guards to protect people's fingers from the parts (pulley-belt-bicycle wheel).
