Lumber Dealers Supply has specialists on staff who are involved in the DuPontPicture (243x142, 8.4Kb) Tyvek Specialist program which is made up of 170 men and women in the U.S. and Canada who are trained in all facets of residential and commercial construction. The classes they attend have been developed by a former college professor from Purdue to help them train building contractors, architects, teachers, students, engineers and building inspectors about building science and building practices. Chamomile Nusz, of Artha Sustainable Living Center, and her husband Ben Nusz, a renewable energy site assessor and an author of a book on solar water heating, are able to share their passion and expertise regarding renewable energy. They both have experience with solar thermal domestic water and space heating systems. Chamomile can talk more in depth on solar electric and wind systems. Using a Prius, Tracey has made presentations for auto tech., electronics, computer, and general technology classes. Solarwise for Schools is a solar energy and education program offered to high schools served by Wisconsin Public Service Corporation. The goal of this program is to install solar-electric systems on high schools and educate students about solar power.
