Workshop was held January 29-31, 2010 at the Central
Wisconsin Environmental Station in Amherst Junction. This year’s
theme was HEALTHY COMMUNITIES with three tracks: NATURAL
COMMUNITIES, LOCAL FOODS, and SERVICE LEARNING. Summary

WAEE Fall Conference

The WAEE
annual conference was held in Eau Claire, WI this year.
The 2009 theme: Keeping the EE in GREEN included
sessions, workshops, and speakers concentrating on how
to find resources and teach “green” initiatives, how to
model and promote “green” behavior, and how to make your
homes, nature centers and classrooms “green.”

The NEW Wisconsin Great Lakes Education Clearinghouse
organizes Great Lakes resources for use in your
classroom, nature center, or home. Whether you’re a
formal or non-formal educator, home-schooler, or
interested parent this one-stop shop is designed to put
you in touch with a great Wisconsin resource: our Great
Lakes. The Alliance for the Great Lakes has partnered
with EE in Wisconsin and a team of educators to bring
