Kohler Foundation, Inc.

Captain Planet

Champions for Healthy Kids

The General Mills Foundation, in partnership with the American
Dietetic Association Foundation and the President's Council on
Physical Fitness, developed the Champions for Healthy Kids grant
program in 2002. Each year, the General Mills Foundation awards
50 grants of $10,000 each to community-based groups that develop
creative ways to help youth adopt a balanced diet and physically
active lifestyle.
Environmental Protection Agency

The Grants Program sponsored by EPA's Environmental Education
Division (EED), Office of Children's Health Protection and
Environmental Education, supports environmental education
projects that enhance the public's awareness, knowledge, and
skills to help people make informed decisions that affect
environmental quality. Annual funding for the program ranges
between $2 and $3 million. More than 75 percent of the grants
awarded by this program receive less than $15,000.
GreenWorks!

GreenWorks is a Project Learning Tree environmental community
action program. It encourages students to participate in
community-based partnerships by developing and implementing
environmental action projects, such as graffiti paint-overs,
tree plantings, stream cleanups, and recycling projects.

Toyota TAPESTRY Grants for Teachers
