WAEE Winter Workshop is traditionally held at Treehaven Field
Station in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. This annual event brings together
WAEE members and non-members for an amazing weekend of winter
education, inspiration, and
fun. This three-day workshop focuses on winter
environmental education and offers opportunities to cross country
ski, snowshoe, sled, enjoy music by the beautiful stone fireplace or
take in the gorgeous view from the warm and cozy dining hall. This
WAEE event offers a great chance to learn new ways to enjoy winter,
network with other environmental educators, and take a break from
busy everyday life in a beautiful setting. With many fun outdoor
activities, winter workshop is perfect for families to attend
together.
Winter Workshop is organized and promoted throughout the year by
volunteers. If you are interested in getting involved, please
contact the WAEE Office.
