Secchi and AIS workshops

Secchi workshops -
Volunteers interested in tracking the changes in water
quality (water clarity) in their lake will want to
attend the secchi workshops. Learn techniques for
clarity monitoring, data entry and data analysis.
AIS workshops -
Volunteers interested in monitoring for aquatic invasive
species should plan to attend an AIS workshop in their
area. Learn monitoring techniques, plant/animal
identification through use of live or preserved
specimens, and help with statewide tracking efforts.
One-on-one trainings for other monitoring opportunities
are available through DNR Regional CLMN Coordinators.
