Osprey Nest (Irving L. Young Center)
- Nature library, quiet lounge and small group meeting space lofted
above WinterBerry Dining Room.
- Features a "browse" library with over 2,000 volumes on topics
ranging from ecology to natural history and from resource management to
Wisconsin history and lore.
- Native stone fireplace available for guest use.
Vallier Classroom Center
- William Sylvester Auditorium features elevated stage, projection
facilities and equipment, sync-dissolve equipment for slide
presentations, remote controlled lighting, sound system, lectern, and
listening aids for hearing impaired guests.
- Meeting rooms to accommodate 15 to 125 people depending on room
setup.
- Copy machine available for use at $.10 a copy.
- Outdoor deck with built-in seating has been expanded to accommodate
outdoor classes, receptions and exhibits.
- PC computer lab with high speed internet access available.
- Audio Visual Equipment Available (see Audio Visual Equipment below).
- Mail Service is available. Check with main office for details.
- The Trailside Nature Shop offers a varied and unique shopping
experience for guests.
Okray Living Centers
- Carpeted rooms sleeping four with bunks, table with chairs, two
chests, two wardrobes and a phone in each room.
- Shared bathroom facility located in middle of the hall on each
floor.
- Linens provided.

Fern Young Cottage
- Five carpeted bedrooms, 3 rooms with two single beds, 2 rooms with a
queen size bed.
- Three private baths, common living area, TV/VCR, kitchen and
laundry.
- Linens provided.
- Total Beds: 10
White Pine Lodge
- Four carpeted bedrooms, each with private bath, bed(s), closet, and
phone.
- Two common living areas with deck and kitchenette.
- Linens provided.
- Total Beds: 7
Check-in and Check-out for Lodging
- Check-in 3:00 p.m.
- Check-out 12:00 noon.
- Clear personal belongings from the living centers by 12:00 noon on
the day of departure. Guests are welcome to secure items in their cars
and continue to utilize Treehaven's trails or facilities for the
remainder of that day.
- When rooms are available, groups needing access to living center
rooms past 12:00 noon, but not staying an additional night will be
charged 1/2 of the daily lodging rate.
Amphitheater
- This fixture was completed in 1996.
- Includes an outdoor stage, hillside seating, AV set-up and outdoor
dining space.
Audio Visual Equipment
- Equipment is available to conference groups as part of their
facility use fee.
- Equipment includes: LCD multimedia projector, overhead transparency
projectors, portable slide projectors, boom box, TV/VCR, telephone.
- Auditorium available which contains slide projectors, two
sync-dissolve units, built-in sound system for portable and stationary
microphones, headset listening device for hearing impaired and remote
room lighting and projection controls.
- A computer room with PC's and high speed internet access is
available.
Trail Use
- There is no charge for trail use, however trail donations are
greatly appreciated in order to maintain trails.
- No pets, bicycles or motorized vehicles allowed on trails.
- Individuals wanting to access the trails are encouraged to check in
at the office first. We suggest you notify Treehaven staff of your
travels, obtain a current trail map, and travel with a companion or two.
- There are miles of unmarked trails covering 1,400 acres of
forestland to accommodate hikers, skiers and snowshoe enthusiast.
Please Note:
- Smoking is permitted outdoors only and at least 50
feet from all building entryways! Smoking is not allowed inside
Treehaven buildings.
- A "No Camping" policy is in effect on the site. This includes tents,
motor homes and campers. Primitive camping is possible for attendees
participating in Treehaven sponsored programming only.
"Leave No Trace" camp skills are required, and permits must be issued
for each individual. Treehaven will designate site areas on
interior lands away from the immediate campus where a "no-camping"
policy exists. A camp fee and orientation talk is required beforehand.
- An outside ramp connects upper and lower levels of the Irving L.
Young Center (WinterBerry Dining Room and BearTrack Lounge) and Vallier
Classroom Center with Okray Living Center A.
- Messages received in the mail office will be relayed to individuals
during business hours.
