offers Elderhostel programs. You may ask, "What is Elderhostel?"
Elderhostel is America�s first and the world�s largest educational travel organization for adults 55 and over. Elderhostel is a friendly, accessible and secure way to explore new places and challenging ideas.
Elderhostel is a not-for-profit organization that provides exceptional learning adventures to nearly 200,000 older adults each year. Elderhostel offers over 10,000 programs a year in more than 90 countries. They believe learning is a lifelong pursuit that opens minds and enriches lives. Elderhostel believes sharing new ideas, challenges, and experiences is rewarding in every season of life. There participants come from every walk of life to learn together, to exchange ideas, and to explore the world.
During your Elderhostel program , you'll study college level courses designed especially for Elderhostel. They are challenging and thought-provoking, but don't require any prior knowledge or formal training, and you won't have to worry about homework, exams or grades.

Photography in the Northwoods

Dates: September 21-October 3, 2008
Explore nature photography capturing the arrival of fall colors in the Northwoods with a digital camera. Emphasis on daily field trips and critiques, not Photoshop techniques. Visit outstanding scenic areas to practice skills in composition, lighting and technique. Capture landscapes, close-ups, wildlife, sunrises, night skies, waterfalls and more. The conference center sits atop a glacial ridge overlooking 1,400 acres of forest and wetlands. The main lodge houses a spacious lounge, recreation center, nature library and dining hall with fireplace. Delicious home-cooked meals. Wildlife and wetlands await you in Northern Wisconsin’s lakes region. Moderately strenuous. More Photography information from the instructor!
