Interpretive Master Plan
South Denali Visitor Center

A Gateway to South Denali

The South Denali region of Alaska offers endless opportunities for visitors and residents to personally experience the landscape, habitats, and wildlife. A visitor complex is currently being planned in Denali State Park that will share the stories of the area and enhance recreational access.

An interpretive master plan is being developed by Schmeeckle Reserve Interpreters, a consulting team from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The plan will help guide the development of the facility, site, trail systems, and media associated with the visitor center.

This website was created as a centralized resource to post information gathered during this planning process.
