Research is an integral part of the mission of the College of Natural Resources. Much research in the CNR is done in conjunction with master's projects, although many faculty conduct research independently or through outreach programs, often with the help of undergraduate students. Our research benefits undergraduates and graduates by providing employment, experience, and exposure to current research techniques and practices. Much of our research is done in cooperation with federal, state, and local resource management agencies; results are disseminated in a variety of scientific and popular publications.
