The Environmental Education Advocate - Summer 1997

Michelle Kirk, NEEAP's Assistant Coordinator, will complete her degree this summer and start a job with the Utah Society for EE. She will continue to stay involved in state capacity building efforts while she coordinates a program working with Utah youth to develop interpretive materials for public access to Forest Service trails and roadways. In this photo, Michelle and David Starnes (NAAEE) say "cheese" while trying on the wares displayed during the 1997 Leadership Clinic silent auction. The auction netted funds for both the Clinic and the host state's EE Association. Hats off to Michelle!
