Landowner Workshops
Target AudienceWisconsin forest landowners who would like to educate school children on their property.
Workshop Description
In this eight hour workshop, participants receive a rationale for forestry
education, an overview of current education principles, and experience
with the LEAF field enhancements. Each participant receives a book
containing the LEAF field enhancements for grades K-8. Participants are
encouraged to make connections with local teachers who have participated
in a LEAF workshop.
Workshop Goals
- To provide teachers who use LEAF classroom materials a local forested site where they can take students for LEAF-related field experiences.
- To provide forest landowners with Wisconsin specific forestry field
lessons.
