Teaching Selected Forestry Topics in the K-12 Classroom

This course compliments Forestry Education for the Wisconsin K-12 Classroom (NRES 740). It explores materials and methodologies to teach K-12 students about current forestry topics, concepts, and issues such as urban forests, wildfire, and outdoor education. The course often involves a field component such as a visit to a local forested site or sawmill. It may be repeated for credit with different subtitles.
