Workshop Fee Policy:
- CLUE will charge a minimal fee to
participants of workshops. The purpose of charging a fee is: one, to
recover partially the costs associated with workshops (copying and
travel); and, two, to create a sense of responsibility to attend the
workshop from those people who register.
- CLUE expects a minimum number of
registrants to attend a workshop. To recover partial costs incurred
for a workshop, we need about 30 people to run a workshop. CLUE
determined this number through experience. Group interaction is
enhanced when about 30 people attend workshops.
- CLUE can cancel a workshop if less than about 30 people have registered. CLUE will attempt to cancel any workshop about one week prior to the date of the workshop.
