Conference and Webcast - Wet Growth: Should Water Law Control Land Use Kennedy Hall, Chapman University School of Law, Orange, California
Land and water resources are interconnected in dynamic, but threatened ecosystems. Yet the legal rules and planning procedures governing land use are fragmented across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. The American Planning Association and its Planning and Law Division are pleased to sponsor a one-day conference and webcast on this critical area of policy and practice.  The program will feature presentations by nationally recognized experts in water law, environmental law, and planning, as well as stakeholder responses by representatives of government, business, and the environmental community. Following the conference, the Environmental Law Institute will publish the proceedings.  Follow the link to get more information on registration.

Additional information on program content and registration for the Cooperative Extensions Local Government Centers programs may be found at www.uwex.edu/lgc/ and on UW-Extension local government educational programs at www.govtraining.org.
