The

summarizes milestones to be achieved, meetings, etc. throughout the
course of the planning process including the corresponding dates.
The
planning process schematic
is a diagram that visually represents the 8 stages of the planning
process.
The
ground rules and
responsibilities outline the responsibilities of each
party in the planning process and define the rules that all
participating communities and individuals agree to follow.
The
Public Participation and
Education Plan is the document adopted by the County
Board that provides written guidance on how the County will involve
the public in the planning process.

This bulletin is for professional planners, community educators,
and local officials responsible for crafting a Public Participation
Plan. Although not a recipe, it does provide a framework for
